About Utage
Usa-cho is a small fisherman town, located about 20km west from central Kochi city.
I have to be up front, there is not much touristic sites, but they still maintain good-old japanese local lifestyle.
My goal is for you to feel welcomed and just enjoy the japanese local life.
If you are looking for the new adventure which you cannot experience with the package tours, this hostel is for you!I am looking forward to meeting you :)!
I would love to get to know you rather than just treat you as a guest so please let me know what you would like to do while you stay with us!
This hostel put values on interacting with locals, feel the atmosphere of Japanese small town and experience new adventures.

Check out: 10:00(Please get out of the room for cleaning)
All the lights must be out after 23:00 since the hostel is in the quiet neigbourhood.
The front door will be locked between 21:30 to 7:00 but the guests can enter at anytime with the PIN code.
Kids over 5yrs old can only stay at private rooms.(No kids under the age of 5 please)
You can use the kitchen but please clean up before 22:30.
There might be events with the locals occasionally so please make sure to check the event schedule before you make a reservation.
